Great post (http://bit.ly/JgeuB6) on the GigaOM Apple Blog today about Apple's lobbying efforts -- or lack thereof. Like Microsoft, Google, and other heavyweight companies, Apple will have to become more active in Washington. They've simply become too big, and they have an ever increasing target on their backs. But "active" doesn't have to mean blanketing Washington with money. Like all things Apple, the company can craft and execute a carefully considered strategy, leveraging the strength of their brand, to connect with policy makers in DC. 

 

New York Advocacy Association Position Papers

New York Advocacy Association Testifies at New York City Lobbying Commission Hearing

At this morning's New York City Lobbying Commission Hearing, Cozen O'Connor Member Ken Fisher testified on behalf of the New York Advocacy Association (NYAA).  The hearing focused on the differences between the City lobbying scheme and the State lobbying scheme.  Below is a link to download the testimony that the NYAA presented to the Commission.

Ken Fisher Interviewed by NY1 about New York City's Lobbying Laws
